The Capital Development Authority (CDA) management on Monday reshuffled director-level officers with the arrival of two officials joining the civic body on deputation.
Hamza Shafqat, a BPS-18 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Group (PAG), in addition to his current posting as the Deputy Director General (Estate), would also look after the work of Director Enforcement till new appointment against this post. He is also exercising powers of Member Estate.
However, Hamza would be relieved as Director Municipal Administration. Captain (r) Tahir Shahbaz, another PAG officer of BPS-18, who was previously serving as Director Enforcement, has been appointed as new Director Municipal Administration. He had done Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) which is a required for promotion to BPS-19.
The two new officers joining the CDA on deputation, Abdul Salam Shah and Abbas Mir, have been appointed as Director Emergency and Disaster Management and Director Revenue.
Malik Iqbal, an officer of CDA, who previously was holding the post of Director Revenue, has been transferred as Director Labour Relations.
