Motorcycle thief caught
The Shah Latif police have arrested a notorious criminal associated with an interprovincial gang of motorcycle lifters.
Police said that they carried out an intelligence-based raid on a house situated near Bhains Colony Morr, and after facing resistance arrested Sajjad Hussain, but his associates fled. They claimed recovering a pistol and stolen motorcycles from his possession. They said Hussain had snatched one motorcycle from Quaidabad Chowk a few hours before his arrest.
During the initial interrogation, the suspect said he transported the snatched or stolen motorcycles to Thatta district’s slum area Chathoo Chand, where he would hire a woman and move with her as pillion passengers towards Ustaa Muhammad, Balochistan. Raids are underway for the arrest of the remaining companions of the suspect. The man had earlier been arrested by the Bin Qasim and Steel Town police and imprisoned.
