Land to be acquired for P&D employees

LAHORE: Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani has decided to acquire land for construction of P&D employees official residences to fulfill the basic demands of the P&D officials. In this connection, budgetary allocation would also be provided in upcoming ADP 2019-20.

Chairing the oath-taking ceremony of newly-elected executive body of the Economists Association P&D, organised by AOE P&D Board here Friday, he said that service structure improvement, Human Resource Management and Capacity Building of P&D employees are our top priorities agenda. The performance of P&D has always been on top as compared to output of the other provincial departments. He said that P&D Economists would be on the disposal of administrative departments for delivering their services to prepare PC-Is of the projects and to reduce gap between the respective departments and P&D for better coordination & monitor all development activities. He appreciated the efforts of secretary P&D to promote the development sector chiefs in next posts of senior chiefs (BPS-20).

At the ceremony, newly-elected executive body of Economists Association, including President (AOE) Saleem Masih, Vice-President Ali Nazir, General Secretary Rizwan Ali, Joint Secretary Shaiza Mudassar, Finance Secretary Muhammad Rashid and Information Secretary Tassawar Abbas took oath.
