Adil Rashid appointed Wateen CEO

KARACHI: Wateen Telecom board of directors on Thursday announced appointment of Adil Rashid as the chief executive officer of the company effective April 22 to replace Rizwan Tiwana, who has resigned on personal grounds, a statement said.
Rashid brings over two decades of experience in driving sales, business development, strategy and market performance as a business and operations leader in the technology sector, it added. He has diversified local and international experience from working with leading global telecom and IT infrastructure, software, and service providers in various business and sales management roles.
