LAHORE : A local NGO working on health issues has raised the slogan of “health for all” in connection with World Health Day being observed across Pakistan and globally on Sunday (today).
This year’s theme of World Health Day is “Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere.” The chairman of the NGO, Dr Zafar Bashir Chaudhry, vowed to resolve health issues and eliminate the preventable diseases in the country. He said his NGO had a network of 32 welfare hospitals in Punjab which provided free treatment to the poor patients on humanitarian grounds.
