KARACHI: A delegation of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has left for China to participate in five-day long South Asia Expo in Kunming, capital of South West Yunnan province, said a statement on Thursday.
President KCCI, Iftikhar Ahmed Vohra, is leading the delegation. In his absence, Muhammad Ibrahim Kasumbi has assumed charge as acting president of the chamber.
Vohra is accompanied by Director KCCI Pavilion and Chairman Fairs and Exhibitions Sub-Committee Naveed Farooki and other KCCI members who will be showcasing textile, carpet, garments, home textile, auto-electrical parts, agricultural commodities, cosmetics and IT services.
The event will provide a great opportunity for Pakistani exporters to showcase their products and establish trade linkages with China and countries in South Asia and South-East Asia to pave way for greater cooperation in trade and investment.
