LAHORE
Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has formally launched a state-of-the-art digital monitoring system to observe its 4,500 partner schools in Punjab. This system will ensure that all the activities of educational programmes are carried out properly in alignment of the established standards towards the achievement of organisational vision. It will ensure complete transparency, efficiency as well as cooperation in meeting the desired results according to their deadlines. Managing Director Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) Dr. Aneela Salman stated this while addressing a ceremony to distribute tabs to the officials of Monitoring and Evaluation Department at PEF head office on Wednesday, according to a handout.
She told the media that PEF was effectively utilising different information and communication technologies to make its pubic-private partnership based models more efficient and result-oriented. In this regard, an updated teachers’ information system has been launched and an electronic attendance system from Lahore will be rolled out across other districts by September this year. We will also devise the capacity building of teachers with regard to E-Register System as it is an efficient mechanism to ensure transparency, she added.
