Protest against police over not arresting accused

NANKANA SAHIB: A large number of residents of Taragrave Kalan village staged a protest demonstration against Syedwala police outside the DPO office on Tuesday.
They raised slogans against police.
Ghulam Murtaza, complainant of a murder case and others told reporters that Ghulam Hussain was shot dead by Ramzan and his accomplices in January 2015 but police has not arrested them so far.
They alleged that investigation officer Malik Farmaish has allegedly took Rs ten lakh from the accused party as a bribe and now police was forcing them for reconciliation. Meanwhile, DSP headquarters Sheikh Arshad talked to protesters and then they dispersed.
