Mismanaged polls

Irrespective of one’s political affiliation, it should be accepted that Imran Khan badly failed to organise fair and transparent local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has totally disassociated himself from them by saying that it was the responsibility of the Election Commission.
It seems Imran had no interest in the KP polls. There was a complete lack of planning on the part of the provincial government in KP. Contesting candidates were wandering inside polling booths, persuading people to vote for them. There was no proper coverage of the election on the government-owned media either.
