Pakistan won independence on August 14, 1947. Our forefathers did not get such independence on a plate. It was due to the untiring efforts of great leaders such as Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and the martyrdom of thousands of Muslims of South Asia that this nation today is living in an independent environment.
It is true that Pakistan is mired into various social, economic, cultural, religious and political problems besides facing the problem of internal and external threat (India). It is also true that it has become very difficult for most Pakistanis to live with these problems constantly. But we have to survive these testing times, as many brave nations of the world do. We all have to defeat such problems through a united effort and resolve. In the stability of Pakistan lies the strength and stability of all Pakistanis and we must put all our efforts in making Pakistan healthy and strong. Pakistan Zindabad (long live Pakistan).
