PESHAWAR: A farewell function was organized in honour of former chief executive of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco), Anwarul Haq Yousafzai, on his retirement from service.
He also served as general manager finance, Wapda.
Senior Pesco officials spoke at the farewell event and praised Anwarul Haq Yousafzai’s services and contribution for improving the working of Pesco.
Pesco’s chief executive Dr Mohammad Amjad noted that Anwarul Haq Yousafzai served in Pesco and Wapda for 30 years and worked hard for provision of better services to the consumers and for the welfare of the employees.
Shaukat Afzal, director general, public relations, Pesco, also spoke on the occasion. Anwarul Haq Yousafzai thanked the senior officers, colleagues and staff of the organization for cooperating with him while in service.
