LAHORE: The 22nd National IKO Matsushima Kyokushin Karate Championships will be held on March 23 and 24 at Railway Stadium here. Teams from all over Pakistan will take part in 10 different weight categories for men kumite (one participant for each unit) and 5 weight categories for female kumite. Boys and girls under 12 years will compete in their separate weight categories. In Kata competition all teams can participate with two players male and female. Branch chief Pakistan Atta Hussain Butt, who is international referee as well, said that semifinals and final will be played March 24. The event will start at 9 am. At the end prize distribution ceremony will be held in the afternoon.
