Affectees seek compensation for damaged houses

BARA: The residents of Maindan area in Tirah valley on Friday asked the government to release compensation cheque for the destroyed house forthwith. Speaking at a press conference at the Bara Press Club, Hanif Shah, Zahir Shah Afridi and others said that the militants had destroyed their houses in Maidan in 2013. They said the government had launched a survey in 2015 in Bar Qmabarkhel and other areas in Maidan.”The government has completed the survey,” Zahir Shah said, adding, dozens of people of Bar Qambarkhel did not issue the compensation. He said dozens of destroyed houses were missed in the survey particularly in Maidan.
