The PTI won the 2018 elections with an overwhelming majority on the back of its popular slogan of Naya Pakistan. The PTI-led government has already completed around eight months and unfortunately done nothing concrete which can ensure the socioeconomic development of the country. Unemployment is at its peak and there is a considerable slowdown in business activities and the industrial growth.
The biggest achievement of the incumbent government so far has been the arrest of politicians who are accused of financial corruption. But this action did not bring the money back to improve the economic situation of Pakistan. The PTI-led government should focus on promises made by them during the election campaign.
