The body of a teenager who drowned in the Hub Dam was found on Wednesday. Ali Raza, 18, drowned while bathing in the dam. Police said rescuers retrieved the body of the deceased, who was a resident of Surjani Town, and had gone to the dam along with a friend for a picnic.
The body was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy and later handed over to his family for burial. On March 14, three teenage friends drowned to death while bathing in the Hum Dam, according to the Surjani police.
Following the incident, rescuers, including divers, from welfare associations reached the site and retrieved the bodies. The deceased were then taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where after completing the medico-legal formalities, their bodies were handed over to their families for their burial.
