Al-Khidmat Foundation honours excelling students
NOWSHERA: The Al-Khidmat Foundation honoured the excelling students at a special ceremony here on Sunday.
Member Provincial Assembly Somi Falak Niaz was the chief guest at the event where the position holder students were awarded certificates as well and the deserving ones were provided cloths.
The MPA said the Al Khidmat Foundation was utilizing all resources to serve the people without any discrimination.
“The foundation came forward and helped the people in need during all types of disasters. The October 8, 2015 devastating earthquake and July 2010 floods can be cited as examples,” added the legislator.
Maulana Samiur Rahman, Iftikhar Ahmad and others addressed the ceremony as well. The speakers said the foundation was looking after 62 orphan kids in the Nowshera district. They vowed to continue with the work.
