Ministers visit social welfare institute
LAHORE : Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Muhammad Ajmal Cheema along with Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry visited Social Welfare Training Institute on Saturday.
Advisor to Punjab CM Ch Muhammad Akram and Member Provincial Assembly Nazir Ahmad Chohan also accompanied them. They went to the institutes run under Social Welfare Complex i.e. Nasheman, Aafiat, Gehwara, Darul Falah and Darul Salon.
The provincial minister briefed the federal minister about the working and improved arrangements made for the residents in the institutes. Both of them met with the residents of the institutes and inquired about the facilities. The residents warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and expressed pleasure. Later, while addressing the media, Fawad Chaudhry said that he was very pleased to visit the Social Welfare Training Institute.
Talking the media, Provincial Minister Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Muhammad Ajmal Cheema said the situation of the institute was bad when he assumed the charge of his ministry.
