Officers transferred, posted
LAHORE: The Punjab government on Thursday issued notification regarding promotion, transfer and posting of following officers.
Asadullah Faiz, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), has been repatriated to the Establishment Division, while Neelam Sultana Khattak, Additional DC (Finance & Planning) Chakwal, has been relieved by the Punjab government to join her new assignment in the KPK government.
Fariha Tajamal (awaiting posting) has been posted as Deputy Secretary Food Department vice Nabila Javed, already transferred and posted as Secretary Mass Transit Authority against a vacant post, Mian Behzad Adil, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), as Director local government Rawalpindi, Qurat-ul-Ain Umer Shah, Deputy Director (Licensing & Recovery) Walled City Lahore Authority, as Deputy Secretary (Coordination) to Additional Chief Secretary.
In pursuance of the notification of the Establishment division, the Punjab government has also issued notification regarding promotion of these officers to BS-18 including Ameera Baidar, Additional DC (Revenue) Narrowal, Jahanzeb, Additional DC (Revenue) Rahim Yar Khan, Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Political Assistant Rajanpur, Wasif Rehman, Additional DC (Revenue) Sargodha, Sarah Hayat, Deputy Secretary Finance, Sataish Sheryar, Deputy Secretary CM Secretariat, Humaira Irshad, Adl DC (Revenue) Lodhran, Kanwal Batool, Additional DC (Revenue) Gujranwala, Rabia Riasat, Additional DC (General) Gujranwala, Meer Muhammad Nawaz, Additional DC (Revenue) Khushab, Rooman Burana, Deputy Secretary Finance, Asma Ijaz, Additional DC (Finance & Planning) Faisalabad, Maleeha Jamal, Additional DC (General) Rawalpindi, and Nausheen Sarwar, Additional DC (Fainance & Planning) Rawalpindi, and upon such promotion they have been allowed to continue work in their present positions, while Capt (R) Saeed Leghari, Additional DC (General) Rahim Yar Khan, after the promotion to BS-18, has been relieved of his duties in the Punjab to join his new assignment under Sindh government.
UHS: The 143rd meeting of Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) was held on Thursday with UHS Vice-Chancellor Prof Javed Akram in the chair.
The board considered the thesis reports of Dr Maria Shafiq for MPhil in Oral Pathology, Dr Shahi Zeb for MS in ENT, Dr Nyla Kehkashan Munawar for MS in Obst & Gynae and Dr Safdar Iqbal for MS in Obst & Gynae. The synopses of following students were also considered for registration in various postgraduate courses: Dr Waqas Arshad Mughal for MPhil in Morbid Anatomy & Histopathology, Ayesha Muqaddas for MPhil in Biochemistry, Dr Shazia Rasul MHPE, Dr Hafsa Muhammad for MPhil in Pharmacology, Dr Aasia Kanwal for MPhil in Physiology, Dr Shagufta Nasir for MPhil in Physiology, Dr Ambreen Shams for MS in General Surgery, Dr Muhammad Munir for MS in Ophthalmology, Dr Muhammad Salman Saleem for MS in Paediatric Surgery, Dr Muhammad Furqan Haider for MS in Plastic Surgery and Dr Muhammad Burhan Barkat for MS in Urology.
Summit: Under Pakistan Society of Urological Surgeons, three-day ‘Uro Summit 2019’ takes place here on Friday (today) and will continue till March 10. Federal Minister Health Amir Kiani and Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmeen Rashid will be the chief guests while renowned doctors, professors and medical experts from all over the country and world-wide will be attending this summit.
