Militants attack army check-post in Loy Shalman

LANDIKOTAL: Anti-Pakistan terrorists from Afghanistan side attacked a Pakistan Army check-post at the border in Loy Shalman, the far-flung area of Landikotal in Khyber tribal district, official sources said on Monday.
The sources said that militants from Rina Parchao area in Afghanistan opened fire on a Pakistan Army's Tanveer security post in Loy Shalman located on the Pak-Afghan border. The Parchao area in Afghanistan's Nangarhar reportedly has safe havens for Pakistani militants belonging to the Jamaatul Ahrar. The sources added that Pakistan's security forces effectively retaliated against the attack. No casualty was reported till filing of this report.
