Fee for tests at govt hospitals increased

LAHORE : The ministry of health said the fee/charges of medical tests have been slightly increased only for those patients who are getting private facilitation in government hospitals.

A spokesperson for the ministry said all government hospitals in Punjab were providing free medical facilities including medicines and tests not only in emergencies but also at indoor wards.

Fees of some medical tests, for the outdoor patients of government hospitals, have been increased, however, that would not affect the normal patients.
