Inquiry ordered From Our Correspondent JHANG: DPO Shahzad Akbar has ordered an inquiry into issuance of an alleged bogus cheque to Jhang Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) executive committee member M Yousaf Chaudhry. The DPO has directed the inquiry officer to call the parties to his office and hold an inquiry for registration of a case under Section 489/F. Earlier, in an application to the DPO, Yousaf Chaudhry said that Muhammad Mudassar of Pirmahal received products amounting to Rs 280,000 from his Pirmahal’s office and gave a cheque of the same amount. He said that when he presented the cheque in a local bank, it was bounced as there was insufficient balance in the account of Mudassar.
