EU delegation calls on PA speaker

LAHORE: European Union project "Provincial" delegation headed by Christopher Shields called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi at the Speaker's Chambers here on Tuesday.

The delegation apprised the speaker about training workshops for the MPAs and Assembly staff for effective legislation. The speaker assured full cooperation to Christopher and members of "Provincial" team. Talking on this occasion, Ch Pervaiz Elahi appreciated the efforts of "Provincial" in the process of legislation. Christopher Shields thanked the speaker for patronising and cooperating with the "Provincial". On this occasion, Punjab Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja, Director General Parliamentary Affairs Inayatullah Lak, representatives of the "Provincial" Asifa Khan and Nadia Batool were also present.
