Huzaifa reaches ITF Junior Ranking Tennis final

KARACHI: Pakistan’s promising junior player Huzaifa Abdur-Rehman reached the final of Syed Tajammul Abbas ITF Pakistan World Junior Ranking Tennis Championships at PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad, on Friday.
In the first semi-final of singles category, top seed Huzaifa continued his winning streak by crushing fourth seed Berk Ulas Enc of Turkey 6-2, 6-1. In the second semi-final, eighth seed Bader Alabdullah of Kuwait beat his country fellow sixth seed Essa Qabazard 6-4, 6-2.
In the doubles final, fourth seed Turkish pair of Berk Ulas Enc and Togan Makzume beat the top seed Pakistani duo of Huzaifa and Sohaib Khan 1-6, 7-6(3), 11-9.
