I live near DHA Rahbar, Lahore. There is a three-laned road which goes all the way to Ring Road. At the tail of the road is a roundabout which exits in two directions: one towards Shanu Baba Chowk and the other towards Ring Road.
In foreign countries, on every roundabout exists a four-side filter to make sure that the traffic moves smoothly and that there is fewer chances for road incidents. However, in our country, the traffic authorities do not pay attention to these details. On this roundabout, there is only a two-side filter. This is the main reason why the number of accidents at this particular spot is high. The LDA has to look into this issue and take steps to resolve it.
