PESHAWAR: The Judicial Commission holding an inquiry into the terrorist attack on the Army Public School and College has rebutted the statement issued by some parents of the martyred students that they had requested the commission to probe the allocation of millions of rupees funds by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government to Darul Uloom Haqqania.

Imranullah, the focal person for the Judicial Commission, clarified and said the parents had not made such a request to the commission.

Advocate Ajun Khan had made the statement before the media persons that during recording a statement, he had requested the commission to probe the allocation of millions of rupees funds to Darul Uloom Haqqania, as some students from the Madrassa were found involved in the terrorist activities and remained under probe by the agencies.

However, the commission refuted the statement and clarified that neither such request had been made by the parents to the commission while recording statement nor the commission had passed any remarks in this regard. The focal person said over 120 persons statements had been recorded by the commission so far and the inquiry continues.
