Two senior cops reshuffled in KP

PESHAWAR: Two senior police officers were transferred and assigned new postings on Tuesday. An official communique on Tuesday said Amjad Khan, a senior officer in grade-21 awaiting posting, was made Additional Inspector General of Police Headquarters, the second senior most position in the force. Besides, Ishtiaq Ahmad was posted Ad IGP Investigation, relieving Shahzad Aslam Siddiqui of the additional charge. A number of other senior officers are likely to be reshuffled in the coming days in the next phase of transfers and postings by the new IGP Mohammad Naeem Khan.
