The mother of Ziaullah Khan Niazi, senior staff reporter of The News, Lahore, died of heart attack on Saturday.
Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held after Esha prayers at B/19, Mohalla Sherman Khel, Mianwali, in which a large number of people including relatives and friends participated.
The News staff have expressed grief over the sad demise of his mother and prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear the loss. The journalist community also offered condolences to the senior journalist.
