Abducted girl found dead

OKARA: An abducted girl was found dead at 12/GD village on Saturday.

Sobia, daughter of Shahmad Ali, was on her way when some accused abducted her on Friday. Next day, her body was found from a vacant plot. The accused had slaughtered the girl. The police have sent the body to a hospital for autopsy.

CRUSHED TO DEATH: A motorcyclist was crushed to death in an accident near Youngpur village on Saturday.

Ghulam Ali was going on a motorcycle when a truck hit him on Okara-Faisalabad Road. As a result, he died instantly. Gogera police have registered a case.

YOUTH KILLED ON RESISTANCE: A youth was shot dead on resistance at Ganda Singh village on Saturday. Accuse Muhammad Fayyaz Ahmad, Imtiaz Ahmad and their accomplices allegedly tried to occupy the house of Muhammad Afzal but he resisted. Later, the accused allegedly shot him dead. Basirpur police have registered a case.
