UC chairman’s remand extended in Ranjhani case

An anti-terrorism court on Saturday extended physical remand of two men standing trial on charges of involvement in nationalist leader Irshad Ranjhani’s murder.
The court heard the case and extended the physical remand of Union Council Chairman Rahim Shah of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Inspector Amir Riaz till February 18. The court ordered their appearance before the administrative judge of ATCs. Shah had killed Ranjhani on February 6, claiming that he was trying to rob him.
