Dacoit killed, three villagers injured

TOBA TEK SINGH: A dacoit was killed and three villagers were injured in an encounter at Chak Dohrabad on Wednesday night.
Three dacoits broke into a house and tried to loot it. On hearing noise, the villagers rushed to the spot, forcing the dacoits to escape towards the fields. The dacoits opened fire at the villagers. As a result, Ijaz, Babar and Asif were injured. In the meantime, police also rushed to the spot and retaliated, killing one of the three dacoits while the others escaped. The injured villagers were shifted to the DHQ Hospital. The killed dacoit could not be identified till the filing of the report.
