Minister of State Capital Administration and Development Division Barrister Usman Ibrahim on Tuesday chaired a meeting on the PSDP budget allocation for the next fiscal for the division.
The relevant officials briefed the minister about the details of four new proposed projects including in the PSDP budget for the FY 2015-16.
The minister said he had requested Minister for Planning Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal for allocating funds according to priorities given by the CADD in its proposals.
He said the CADD PSDP budget for 2015-16 amounts to Rs1.543 billion.
“We aim to spend the proposed budget on 17 schemes including four new schemes, including establishment of Resource Unit for Autistic Children at National Special Education Centre for Mentally Retarded Children H-8/4, Islamabad; construction of additional academic blocks for Shifting of Students from Evening to Morning Shift in IMCs, Islamabad; establishment of Literacy Cell in Islamabad, and construction of 200 bedded hospital in G-13, Islamabad,” he said.
The minister said the new schemes were much needed for the citizens of capital since long.
“Execution of these new schemes will go a long way in meeting the needs of Islamabad citizens,” he said.
