The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started construction of approach roads to further ease the access to posh Park Enclave Housing project.
An official of CDA on Monday said that heavy machinery had already been mobilised for construction of these approach roads from Kurri Road and Park Road.
The authority has already completed two over head and two underground water tanks while in order to ensure provision of clean drinking water, two tube wells have also been bored.
Moreover, earth work of 33 out of 44 roads has also been completed and carpeting on these roads would be commenced by the end of this month. The official said roads structures have been completed and to ensure the security at the Housing Scheme some security posts have also been established.
He said CDA has also completed the construction of three main culverts and two pipe culverts while work on sewerage, drainage and water supply lines is also being carried out at a fast pace.
The authority in addition to the early completion of development work at Park Enclave is also completing remaining development work in sector D-12 on war footing.
It has ensured availability of funds so that development work in sector D-12 could be completed at the earliest. CDA has already completed the installation of street boards and traffic signboards after completing carpeting of all roads of sector D-12.
