ISLAMABAD: The Consulate General of Pakistan in Birmingham started issuing Machine Readable Passports, meeting the longstanding demand of the Pakistani community.
Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK Syed Ibne Abbas had assured the Pakistani community of providing this facility on priority and launch of the service has fulfilled the commitment, said a press release received here on Sunday. The passport applicants have been advised to visit the Consulate for processing of their applications. For knowing further details and requirements for the applications, the applicants have been advised to visit www.phclondon.org/mrp. The launch of MRP service is in continuation of the ongoing efforts of the High Commission and its Consulates to facilitate the community through improved consular services, the press release added.
