Islamabad: National Book Foundation (NBF) has completed 100% task of re-developing textbooks. After being declared as Federal Textbook Board, NBF developed, improved and got again NOCs of textbooks from constituted Technical Review Committee, says a press release.
NBF Managing Director Prof. Dr. Inam-ul-Haq Javeid made a comprehensive plan to re-develop textbooks with attractive layout, design and technique of taxonomy. Under the supervision of renowned textbook development expert, Prof. Dr. Attash Durrani, the Book Development Section was more equipped, and corrections were made in textbooks from Class-I to Class-X in first phase. At NBF, the Foundation Review Committee started its work on developing standard textbooks. The comprehensive plan was chalked out to make-up these textbooks up to the international level and optimal standardisation. The authors were called to go through textbooks with making strategy in five important workshops and then revised these textbooks accordingly. The hectic job was almost completed within three months.
The useful and productive workshops on textbooks development were conducted. The textbooks developer experts, authors and scholars attended these workshops.
