Jinnah Preparatory School organised the annual Milad with religious zeal and fervor, says a press release.
Chief guest Chief Executive Abdul Qadir Haye graced the occasion. Few former members of faculty were also among the invitees along with the mothers of the students.
The function started with the recitation of the Quran by M. Abdullah of Class VI and was translated by Sana Hamayun of class VIII. Usaid of class X presented a ‘Hamd’, Fatima Tariq, Ibrahim, Ifrah, Laiba Zia, Umaima, Ayesha Tariq, Samen Mehak and Jawad recited ‘Naats in their melodious voices. Abdullah Ibrar, Rida and Ayesha Tariq delivered comprehensive and inspiring speeches on different aspects of ‘Sirat-un-Nabi’ (peace be upon him).
The participants and guests offered ‘Darood-o-Salam’ to express their deep love and devotion with Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). Later ‘dua’ was offered by Liba Zia.
Uzma Bilal, member, School Governing Body concluded the occasion with precise and thoughtful ‘dua’. Guests and mothers appreciated the performance of the student and efforts of the teachers and the principal. Sweets were distributed among the guests and participants in the end.
