Locals deprived of cash, valuables in 19 hits

GUJRANWALA: Robbers and thieves deprived locals of cash and valuables in 19 strikes in different areas of Gujranwala.
Two robbers snatched Rs 19,000 and a cell phone from Usman at Gadi village in Noshera Virkan police area.
Two bandits intercepted Sher Muhammad and his wife on Sialkot road near district courts and snatched gold ornaments, Rs 20,000 and motorcycle No GAK-7997 in Jinnah Road police area.
Gunmen snatched Rs 7,000 and a cellphone from Bilal on Silakot road and Rs 5,000 and two cellphones from Aamer in Jinnah Road police area.
Two robbers snatched motorbike No GAL-8930 and cash from Shahid on Katcha Khan Road in Khiali police area.
Bandits snatched Rs 25,000 from Ashraf on Sheikhupura road Rs 3,000 and a cellphone from Kashif near Zinco cinema in Sabzi Mandi police area.
Three bandits snatched Rs 17,000 and a cellphone from Usman on Hafizabad road in Baghbanpaura police area.
Four gunmen snatched Rs 39,000 from Aslam at Kot Shah Mohammad bridge in Sodhra police area.
Two bandits snatched Rs 11,000 and a cellphone from Azmat in Alipur Chattha police area.
Two robbers intercepted Boota on Old Noorakot road and snatched Rs 9,000 and a cellphone in the jurisdiction of Gakhar police.
Thieves entered house of Akhtar at Sad Nagri bazaar in Kotwali police area and took away 58 tola gold, Rs 2.6 million and other valuables.
