Bad governance in Sindh has reached an all-time high. Public resources are being ruthlessly wasted – both by the corrupt ruling elite and by public officials. There is a lack of transparency, distrust and a deep sense of insecurity everywhere in the province.
The ruling elite is allegedly misusing its authority and enriching itself and certain powerful factions and individuals but they are doing nothing for the poor and deprived sections of the province. How can officials in grade 16 and above purchase properties in posh localities and buy agriculture land in the province then?

Abject poverty and a deep sense of depravation prevail among the Sindhi youth, shackled by a feudal class and a defunct political system that, too, in a province that is and has been ruled by the PPP for nearly a decade.
When it comes to individual potential and personal positive attributes, the Sindhi youth is as good as their contemporaries in other provinces of the country. Yet they remain the most neglected and underprivileged class of the population. One has to interact with them to experience the glimpse of brilliance in them. The PPP and its leadership has done little to let them grow because a powerful, self-reliant and empowered entity will rise to challenge a corrupt, dynastical and crooked dispensation and system of governance.
