The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s food and quality control department will start a drive against sale of health hazardous food items from May 4. This was announced by the department’s deputy director Dr Muhammad Irfan on Saturday. He said on the directive of the city commissioner, the department is going to launch a drive against substandard eatables items and food inspectors officials would participate in the campaign.
Impersonators caught: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) chairman, this past week, claimed that 11 fake candidates tried to appear in intermediate exams but due to bar-coded admit cards (introduced recently) their attempt totally failed.
Anwar Zai mentioned that these cases were reported during the last three days and claimed that no impersonation and unfair means cases were reported from anywhere else in Karachi.
