Residents robbed of valuables in 22 hits

GUJRANWALA: Robbers and thieves deprived locals of cash and valuables in 22 strikes in several areas of Gujranwala on Thursday.
Two bandits intercepted the motorcycle of Abdul Khaliq and his wife at Lohianwala canal bridge in the cantonment police area and snatched gold ornaments worn by his wife, Rs 1,000 and a cellphone.
Two robbers intercepted Qamar Zaman and his wife in village Hardopur in Qila Didar Singh police area and snatched gold ornaments and Rs 7,000.
Two gunmen snatched Rs 15,000 and two mobile phones from Azhaar at Mohallah Darul Islam in the Kamoke city police area.
Two robbers snatched new motorbike and Rs 3,000 from Tahir at Jandiah Baghbwala in Gujranwala sadr police area.
Two dacoits snatched Rs 19,000 and two cellphones from Shafqat near vegetable market in Gujranwala sadr police area.
Two gunmen deprived a man of Rs 7,000 and three cellphones at Farid Town in Satellite town police area.
Bandits took away gold ornaments and Rs 5,000 from a house in Dhulley police area.
Two muggers snatched Rs 15,000 from Ghulam Abbas in Butranwala locality of Aroop police area.
Two gunmen snatched motorcycle No STL-2927 from Basharat at Taliwala Gala in Satellite Town police area.
Two robbers snatched Rs 12,000 and a cellphone from Mudassar at Ferozewala canal bridge in the Ferozewala police area.
Robbers snatched a new motorbike from Abdul Ghani at Noshera road in Baghbanpura police area.
Thieves entered mobile phone shop of Munawar and took away seven costly mobile phones and other equipment from Ladhewala locality in the area of Ladhewala Warraich police.
