GUJRANWALA: Contract employees of the Water Management Department Wednesday staged a protest demonstration outside the Gujranwala Commissioner office for regularization of their job.
The protesters raised slogans, demanding regularization. They said they were working on contract basis for the last one decade and they were not regularised despite promises by the relevant authorities.
An officer of the Commissioner office assured them that their demands would be considered.
