A fearless activist

The ghastly murder of T2F director Sabeen Mahmud is not only highly unfortunate it also strongly indicates that there are those who have made up their minds to eliminate any person who advocates human rights and holds moderate thinking.
Even religious scholars who suggest the interpretation of religion rationally are at the receiving end of life threats. The death of Sabeen Mahmud is not merely a loss of a human rights activist. It signals a serious threat to all those who speak the truth fearlessly and who wish to turn our country into one free of prejudice, sectarianism and exploitation.
