FCCL posts Rs981.95mln profit

KARACHI: Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL) has announced a net profit of Rs981.951 million, translating into the earnings per share (EPS) of 74 paisas for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, a company statement said on Monday.
The company had posted a profit of Rs744.926 million and EPS of 56 paisas for the corresponding quarter last year.The sales revenue for the quarter under review stood at Rs4.426 billion as compared to the sales of Rs4.3 billion in the same period last year, it said.
For the nine-month period ended March 31, 2015, FCCL posted a net profit of Rs2.65 billion and EPS of Rs1.99 as compared to the profit of Rs1.995 billion and EPS of Rs1.50 for the same period last year.The company did not announce any payout along with the corporate earnings.
