Smoking hazards

Of many forms of tobacco intake the most common is cigarette smoking. It is not influenced by climate or economic condition. Beside wasting money, smoking is a source of many serious ailments. It can cause cancer in addition to affecting the respiratory tract and cardiovascular system. The constant intake of cigarette also increases cholesterol levels.
The hazards of smoking are not confined to a smoker only. Non-smokers are also victims of the tobacco scourge. It is feared that passive smoking can cause more deaths than any other pollutant. We need to promote awareness of the risks of smoking.
