Cop killed in Bhara Kahu

Islamabad: A constable of the Islamabad Police was gunned down by unidentified assailants in mysterious circumstances in a demolished house at Bhara Kahu late Tuesday night, police sources said.
The victim, identified as Constable Shadab Haider, attached with the Police Control, used to go to a vacant house in Mohallah Syedan, Bhara Kahu, to observe 40-day seclusion for mystic empathy (chillah) at night after his duty hours, police said and added that the cop went to the house recently demolished by the CDA’s Enforcement Directorate located in a jungle and unidentified assailants shot him dead.
Police recovered the corpse on information of some locals, and shifted his dead body to the hospital for post-mortem.
Police have taken up the case but haven’t yet hunted down the people involved in the killing of the cop, however, some suspicious persons of adjacent localities have been rounded up for interrogation.
