Two students stabbed, injured in Malakand

BATKHELA: Unidentified persons stabbed and injured two students in Koper Killay in Sakhakot area in Malakand Agency on Wednesday, said official sources.
The sources said that Farman Ali and Siyab, students of grade 6, at the Government High School in Muhammad Patay, were on their way home from the school when unidentified persons attacked them with knives and daggers near Din Killay Koper. The attackers managed to escape after farmers working in a nearby field reached the spot. The injured students were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Dargai.
Following the incident, the security forces and personnel of the Malakand Levies also reached the spot and cordoned off the area. The Malakand Levies started investigation after registering the case against unknown accused. A doctor at the hospital said that both the students were in a critical condition.
