GUJRANWALA: Two women were killed in a road accident near Rahwali on Monday.
Shabana Kausar, wife of Fayyaz, Abida Parveen, wife of Ashfaq, and Ejaz were on their way on two motorbikes and their vehicles collided with each other on GT Road. In the meantime, a truck coming from behind hit them. As a result, both women died on the spot while Ejaz was injured.
DACOITS INJURE 4, LOOT VALUABLES: Dacoits looted valuables besides injuring four of a family here on Monday.
Eight bandits forced their entry into the house of Hidayat at Mughal Chak village and snatched gold ornaments and cash. Later, the dacoits stormed into the house of Alia Bibi and tried to loot valuables. They shot at and injured Tanvir, Shafiq, Anees and Sharifan Bibi on resistance.
