NBF provides 60,000 textbooks to FDE

National Book Foundation has observed quality of standards, pedagogical outcomes, taxonomy access and actualisation of style. The textbooks developed in accordance with Curriculum 2006-2007 with new design, layout and printing in this year, says a press release.
About 55 titles of textbooks of class-Prep to class-X with quantity of more than 60,000 have been distributed at nine specified centres of Federal Directorate of Education. These textbooks are being provided to the students under FDE control side by side. NBF has been trying its level best to complete the job of distribution of textbooks within shortest span of time and stipulated period.
After printing process, these are being provided to the students of schools and colleges working under Federal Directorate of Education at fast track presently. The NBF staff is busy round the clock in providing textbooks of class-Prep to class-X to the students of Islamabad Capital Territories (ICT). All employees have been working in printing, storing and distributing jobs day and night in order to accomplish this task well in time.
National Book Foundation has provided textbooks of international standard. It has strived hard to distribute textbooks from class-Prep to class-XII, teachable with best quality and maintenance of standards.
It is further clarified that due to some technical reasons, the process of development, printing and improving of textbooks was started late but later on, it had been decided to establish and strengthen the Textbook Development Cell of Federal Textbook Board in NBF. For this purpose, the useful and productive workshops of authors, pedagogical experts and well known writers were held here. In the light of their suggestions, recommendations and feedback, first time NBF had re-developed all these textbooks up to mark. Now, these are definitely of high graded quality of content, material, paper, design, layout and printing.
