Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) officials on Tuesday arrested an Assist Sub-Inspector (ASI) for allegedly taking Rs50,000 bribe.
According to ACE officials, ASI Riasat Ali allegedly took bribe in a case for setting an accused Muhamamd Tariq free. They said the ASI instead of setting him free started demanding Rs 50,000 more. On Tuesday, Riasat was arrested red-handedly when he was taking bribe from Tariq.
