‘Pak, Nepal have potential to expand trade activities’

CHAKWAL: Pakistan and Nepal have very close relations with a potential to expand business activities with each other.
It was said by Nepal’s Ambassador Bharat Raj Paudyal while attending the industrial exhibition as the chief guest on its fourth day at the Community Centre here on Saturday. The Nepal’s ambassador was accompanied by Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry ex-president Zafar Bakhtawari and Chakwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry president Qazi Muhammad Akbar. Speaking on the occasion, the Nepal’s ambassador said that Pakistan had a very rich and old civilisation. Qazi Akbar said that he was confident that after the industrial exhibition, Chakwal’s industrial face was highlighted. He was confident that in the near future, an industrial zone at Lahore-Islamabad Motorway near Neela Interchange would be established as it was already approved by PM Nawaz Sharif. Jamaat-e-Islami leader Prof Hameedullah Malik, DBA president Ch Iftikhar Ahmad, DBA secretary Ch Ahmed Raza, press club chairman Khawaja Babar Saleem Mehmood and others were also present. It is pertinent to mention here that the industrial exhibition would be concluded on Sunday (today) in which ambassador of Bangladesh would be the chief guest while Senator Abdul Qayyum would chair the concluding session.
