MARDAN: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Tuesday said that though media sometimes criticised the provincial government it also appreciated their good initiatives.
“Our government has brought change in education, police and revenue departments,” he said while addressing the oath-taking ceremony of Mardan Press Club at Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar.
Provincial Minister Atif Khan, Mohammad Shafi and general secretary Mohammad Yaqoob Jahanzeb also addressed the ceremony. The chief minister said that PTI’s opponents alleged that the government had failed to deliver. “But I accept that we have failed in doing corruption and making assets and bank balances in our government,” he added.Earlier, the chief minister took oath from the newly-elected office-bearers of the Mardan Press Club.
